Wrapping Up Summer 2020

Neighborhood pumpkins and cornstalks mean the first summer is officially in the books for Dunebird! We had a successful launch (especially given the situation). 

Through great partnerships in a tight-knit beach town, our products were placed into 6 stores along Long Beach Island, NJ. This helped us introduce our Terry Towel Pullovers in a big way! We were also able to get people wearing them through word-of-mouth and digital media campaigns, building a fun social media community throughout the summer.

While we would’ve liked to have been able to sell some of our products from a stand in person, we don’t think people would’ve been too keen on the idea of buying from three dudes hanging out on the street during a pandemic.

The initial feedback on the pullovers was overwhelmingly positive and we enjoyed creating a community around the brand by extending out from friends and family. We appreciate all the creative ideas and suggestions you guys provided us with. Keep them coming!

Planning for 2021 is underway as we look to revamp the website, develop new products, and continue to expand by getting into more shops along the east coast. We’ll also be giving a behind-the-scenes look into how we’re preparing for next summer.
